What Is an HTTP Telemetry & Header Inspector?

An HTTP telemetry inspector executes socket-level diagnostic requests to analyze HTTP response status codes, raw headers, TTFB (Time to First Byte) latency waterfalls, hop-by-hop redirect chains (301/302), SSL/TLS certificate chains, and security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options).

1. Microsecond Timing Waterfall

Breaks down exact phase durations: DNS resolution, TCP handshake, TLS negotiation, TTFB, and download transfer.

2. Security Headers Grade

Evaluates HSTS, Content-Security-Policy, Permissions-Policy, X-Content-Type-Options, and Referrer-Policy.

3. CDN Edge Fingerprinting

Detects Cloudflare, CloudFront, Fastly, Akamai, and BunnyCDN edge PoP locations and cache status (HIT/MISS/DYNAMIC).

Frequently Asked Questions

TTFB is the duration from when the client sends an HTTP request until the first byte of data is received from the server. A TTFB under 100 ms indicates high server responsiveness and optimized backend processing.
Redirect loops occur when Page A redirects to Page B, which redirects back to Page A (e.g. conflicting HTTP to HTTPS rewrite rules or mixed Cloudflare SSL Flexible/Full settings).
Security headers instruct browsers to enforce strict HTTPS transport (HSTS), block Cross-Site Scripting (CSP), and restrict unauthorized iframe embedding (clickjacking prevention).
Enter your domain in the Security Header Checker to inspect the complete X.509 certificate chain, issuer Authority, SAN hostnames, and remaining days until expiration.
