Global DNS Propagation Checker
Check DNS record propagation across 20+ worldwide Anycast resolver nodes with live response validation.
When specified, resolver nodes with answers matching this expected target will show a green checkmark; differing results will be highlighted.
Worldwide Propagation Map
Query authoritative and recursive nameservers across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Africa.
What Is DNS Propagation?
DNS propagation is the timeframe required for updates made to your domain's authoritative nameservers (such as A, CNAME, MX, or TXT records) to be fully distributed and cached by internet service providers (ISPs) and recursive DNS resolvers worldwide.
Resolvers cache DNS query results for the duration specified by the record's TTL (e.g. 300s to 86400s) before fetching updated zone records.
Some regional internet providers disregard low TTL values and cache records longer to reduce bandwidth, causing localized propagation delays.
Testing via Cloudflare, Google, Quad9, and local nodes confirms whether your new IP or mail server has reached users across all continents.
